William G. Gesler, Jr.

Passed away peacefully on June 29, 2013, at the age of 76. William was a resident of Hartland, previously living in Northville for many years. He was born August 2, 1936 in Highland Park, Michigan; son of William and Marjorie (Lee) Gesler. Mr. Gesler proudly served his country with the Navy from 1956 - 1958. He married Edwinna on May 16, 2009. William was a member of Michigan Knights Family Motor Coach Association and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing, travelling, camping, and reading the paper. He adored his best buddy, his dog Coltrane. Willaim is survived by his loving wife, Edwinna Gesler; his children, Marvin (Jennifer) Gesler, William (Colleen) Gesler III, and Rebecca Gibson; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Gesler and his parents. The visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.
