Glen E. Wangeman A longtime resident of Northville, passed away July 10, 2013, at the age of 80. He was born September 18, 1932 in East Jordan; son of Lyle B. and Evelyn (Caplin) Wangeman. Glen grew up in Boyne City, graduating from Boyne City High School in 1951. He married Rosemary Shaver on March 26, 1955, and they spent 58 loving years together. Glen retired in 2000 after working for many years as a civil engineer with Michigan State Highway Department and other companies. He was a member of the Northville Moose Lodge and was a life member of the Masons. He loved Westerns, especially John Wayne. He enjoyed spending time with his family and recording their memories with his video camera. Glen is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Wangeman; his children, Becky (Randal) Armstrong, Debra (David) Koch, and David (Julie) Wangeman; his brother, Lyle B. (Norma) Wangeman, Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents. A time of gathering will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. until Noon with a Celebration of Glen's life at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
