Ann E. Lindemier, age 73, a longtime resident of Northville, previously of Grand Ledge, passed away July 15, 2013. She was born December 21, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan; daughter of Bliss and Ilah (Church) Gardner. She was united in marriage to her love Donald H. Lindemier on December 26, 1959; they were married for over 53 years. During her life Ann worked in the clerical field for several companies including Michigan Bell. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Northville. She enjoyed golfing, knitting, crocheting and doing needlepoint. Ann loved going on her annual trips to the Kentucky Derby and her occasional trip to the casino. Ann and Don loved to dance; she was an amazing dancer. She was a selfless mother, caring grandmother, and a giving wife. Ann was a strong-willed independent woman who believed in social justice. She is survived by her beloved husband Don; her loving sons Steve Lindemier, Jeff Lindemier, and Eric Lindemier; and her grandsons Tyler, Donny, and Darian. She was also loved by many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17 from 5-8pm and Thursday, July 18 from 4-8pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 19 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Pastor Jeff Sheldon with Eastland Baptist Church in Bryan, Ohio will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville following the funeral service.
