Mary Lou Mair

Mary Lou Mair, age 81, of South Lyon, formerly of Plymouth, Fenton, and Hawks, MI, passed away October 14, 2013. She was born March 27, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio; daughter of Robert and Mary (nee Gretzinger) Sass. Mary Lou was united in marriage to Robert Mair in 1955; they spent 53 loving years together until his death in 2009. Mary Lou worked for many years as a Communications Administrator with Al Serra Auto Plaza in Grand Blanc. She was a member of Civitans of Plymouth-Canton and the St. Andrews Society of Detroit. She is survived by her loving children, Scott, Kyle, Amanda, Coreen, Holly, and Susan (Mike); 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents. A time of gathering will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 from Noon until 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Rev. Fred Woodward will officiate the service. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or the Charity of the Givers Choice.
