Robert E. Holloway 1940-2013, a generous, kind and faithful man, who battled to the end against numerous health complications, lost his life with his family at his bedside, early Saturday, October 12. Rob was a successful entrepreneur, founding Security Corporation in the 1970s. Through his leadership and guidance he watched it become one the largest security companies in the country. An avid golfer, who played weekly and only a few weeks before, purchased a new set of irons trying to shave some strokes off of his game. A tireless philanthropist who couldn't bear the thought of hungry in-need families near his Florida home, and cofounded the local charity, The Bridge Fund. A loving husband of 53 years, still together every minute of the day and madly in love with his adoring wife, Joy. Three loving children Robert E. Holloway II, Jana L. (Richard) Fetters, and Randy J.(Carolyn) Holloway. Grandfather to Richard J. Fetters II, RJ Holloway II, Madison L. Holloway and Nathan R. Holloway. Rob truly adored spending time with each grandchild and watching them grow. Survived by his brother, Ray (Carolyn) Holloway of Herrin, Illinois, and his sister Jane (Bruce) Wheatley of Bonita Springs, Florida. His brothers and sisters in law James Walsh, Julie Heberer and Rusty (Pat) Walsh. Originally from southern Illinois, Rob had been a Northville resident since 1970 and a resident of Bonita Spring Florida since 1990.
