Suzanne was born on March 30, 1948 in Muskegon Michigan. At an early age, Suzanne loved to laugh and participated in dance, riding horses and playing dress up. She had a loving grandmother and spoke of her often throughout her life. Suzanne graduated from North Muskegon High School and also attended the University of Maryland in Heidelberg, West Germany. While living in Germany, Suzanne worked in banking and traveled extensively throughout Europe. While there, she also acted and danced in several plays and variety shows - making new friends all along the way that she continued to have throughout her life. Upon returning to the US, Suzanne met and married Scott Livingston. They created a wonderful life which included having three beautiful children; Jason, Brooke & Amie. Suzanne and Scott lived in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and eventually moved to Northville where she developed a life long friendship with her dear friend, Roxanne Casterline. Eventually they moved and settled in North Muskegon where she raised her children. Suzanne always created a warm and loving environment in her home. Her decorating, gardening and entertaining always provided a backdrop that led to years of laughter and memories with far too many friends to mention each by name. Suzanne developed many more close relationships in her neighborhood and her community. She cofounded The Pantree, a gourmet kitchen store, with her dear friend, Marcia Schneeberger which was renowned for its creativity, warmth and inviting atmosphere. Throughout her life, Suzanne was active in many different charities including in the March of Dimes and the Muskegon Service League. In 2000, Suzanne married David. While initially living in Grand Haven, they eventually settled in their beautiful home in Battle Creek. As always, she had many friends and family in the area. Suzanne always loved to travel and would enjoy visiting with her brother, Jonathon and Lori and Kylie in their home in Arizona. She and David would also travel to California to visit with Dick and Helen Kerr and David's daughter, Gina. Recently, Suzanne worked as a commercial real estate broker in the Chicago area and was a valued friend and confidant to the many business owners and coworkers that she worked with. If you ever were interested in talking politics, Suzanne always had a heartfelt opinion of what was happening in America and how to fix it. She had a strong interest in British royal history and read extensively on the subject. In 2009, she fulfilled a life long dream of travelling to London and Paris where she shared many laughs and memories with her family. Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her love of life and laughter were contagious. Her commitment to making others feel loved and special was at her core and on display until the moment that she passed.
