Thomas J. Liddell

Thomas J. Liddell Age 85, a longtime resident of Northville passed away on December 19, 2013. He was born December 9, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan; son of John Thomas and Ida (nee Wytrychowski) Liddell. He was united in marriage to Nancy A. Raczkowski on November 12, 1955; they just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. Tom was an engineer with Mobil Oil for 30 years; he retired in the mid 1990's. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victory where he served for many years as a Eucharist minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom enjoyed golfing, swimming, and traveling. He liked to stay healthy and active. He was a genuinely good man who was always there when you needed him. He was a loving and amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; his children Karen (David) Bilyk of Novi, John (Linda) Liddell of Livonia, Tom Liddell of California, Jeff (Michelle) Liddell of California, Steve Liddell of Okemos, and Mike Liddell of Okemos; his grandchildren Julie Bilyk, Brian (Katti) Bilyk, Joshua Liddell, Michael Liddell, Betsy Liddell, Katie Liddell, Shannon Liddell, Kevin Liddell, Alexander Liddell, Torrin (Chelsea) Liddell, Moiranda Liddell, Aiden Liddell, and Owen Liddell; and his great grandchildren Ella and Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-in-law Kristen, and his granddaughter Michaela. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2-8pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:30pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10:30am at Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook Road, Novi.
