Andrew G. Cusson Age 87, a lifelong resident of Northville, passed away on February 18, 2014. He was born on November 30, 1926 in Northville, Michigan; son of Andrew and Justine (nee Gelina) Cusson. Andrew was united in marriage to Helen on November 12, 1946; they were married for 50 years until her death in 1996. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. For 30 years he worked in the dairy industry pasteurizing milk and making ice cream; he worked for Guernsey Farms Dairy and Twin Pines Dairy. After his dairy career he went to work at General Motors as a machinist, retiring in 1994. Andrew enjoyed working on houses; not only remodeling but building homes and additions on homes. He was a very fun and active dad when his children were younger. He liked to play the harmonica and sing, especially on road trips with his family. Andrew is survived by his children Justine (Everett) Boyer, Lloyd Cusson, Vivian Maltby, Yvonne Cusson, and Jeffrey Cusson; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 13 brothers and sisters, his son Gregory Cusson, and his great grandson Michael. Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 from 9am-11am with a funeral service beginning at 11am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Kathryn Ling from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville where he will receive Military Honors.
