Michael C. Mcarthur

Age 65, of Northville, passed away on May 29, 2014. He was born April 19, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan; son of Lawrence and Lena (nee Light) McArthur. Michael grew up in Plymouth, graduating from Plymouth High School in 1967. He worked as a cook for many years at various restaurants in the area, including the Wagon Wheel, the Palace, and the Hilton. He also worked for Sports Services at Northville Downs for 15 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Michael was a voracious reader; he would read anything he could get his hands on and was always happiest when he was reading. He was an avid sports fan, always rooting for the Detroit Teams, but his favorite was U of M football, "Go Blue!" He is survived by his loving brother, Keith A. McArthur. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services were held.
