Harold C. Noffz

Harold C. Noffz Age 86, longtime resident of Northville, passed away June 3, 2014. He was born on February 9, 1928 in Fremont, Ohio; son of Emil and Else (Wandke) Noffz. He was united in marriage to Carol Irene Loughman, spending 48 years together. Harold graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Burroughs in Plymouth, Michigan, retiring after 30 years. Following his retirement, he continued his career as a Research Engineer with Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. Harold was a member of the Ann Arbor Ski Club. He enjoyed skiing, sailing, and hiking. He is survived by his wife, Carol Noffz; his sons, Eric Noffz and Karl (Mary Ann Francisco) Noffz; his grandchildren, Youri and Hanphil; his mother-in-law, Mary Loughman; and his nephews,Tim Johns and Larry Johns. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Edie Johns and Marty Evert. A memorial visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Rural Hill Cemetery, 100 Rural Hill Drive, Northville.
