Rebecca "Becky" Muller, age 74, a lifelong resident of Northville, passed away peacefully December 24, 2014. She was born August 28, 1940 in Northville, Michigan; daughter of Robert F. and Marjorie (nee Horan) Coolman. She spent most of her life in Northville; living most recently in Clarkston to be closer to her family. Becky received her Bachelor Degree from Michigan State University. She was a Professor at Northwood Institute in Midland and worked at the Board of Education in Northville. She was given the opportunity to work at Ford as an Industrial Engineer, a job she could not pass up. Becky worked for Ford Motor Company for 24 years; retiring in 2001. She loved to read and enjoyed traveling. Her favorite vacation spot was her family's cottages on St. Joseph Island, Ontario, Canada. Becky loved to cook and spend time with her friends; whether they were going to the theater or playing bridge. Family was the most important aspect of Becky's life; she was a dedicated, loving and supportive mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Muller; her son Stephen (Richele) Muller; her brother Richard Coolman; and her granddaughters Kayle and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law Jean Coolman. A Time of Gathering will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 10 a.m. until Noon with a Memorial Service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
