Marlene C. Buckhave

Marlene C. Buckhave (nee Mino) Age 76, of Livonia, passed away January 5, 2015. Marlene was born on August 7, 1938; she spent her childhood in Farmington and most of her married life in Livonia. She was united in marriage to Jens Buckhave in May of 1956; they spent 58 loving years together until his death in September of 2014. Marlene was a wonderful homemaker who cherished her family. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed golfing especially with her family. Marlene also enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time outdoors. Family was the most important part of her life; she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children, Terry (George) Jackson, Thomas (Kathy) Buckhave, Patricia (Don) Johnson, and Judith (William) Ford; her grandchildren, Taylor Jackson, Ashley (Steven) Sobieck, Jessica (Roy) Holmberg, and Bradley Ford; her great grandchildren, Paxton and Ellie Sobieck; and her brothers, Robert (Margene) Buckhave and Edward (Rosemary) Buckhave. She was preceded in death by her husband. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10am until Noon with a Memorial service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to the Salvation Army, 9451 South Main Street, Plymouth, MI 48170.
