Mitsue Asano Boyd

Mitsue A. Boyd Mitsue A. Boyd, age 90, of Hartland, formerly a longtime resident of Northville, passed away peacefully January 20, 2015. She was born December 14, 1924 in Chiba City, Japan. She was united in marriage to William E. Boyd on September 3, 1953; they spent 54 loving years together until his death in 2008. Mitsue enjoyed sewing; she made most of her own clothing. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting still life's, mostly landscapes and flowers. She is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Boyd and Yumi (Katsumi) Watanabe; her grandchildren Diasuke and Goro; and her former daughter-in-law Carol Bennett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to a charity of the givers choice.
