Daniel J. Barron

Daniel J. Barron Age 54, of Northville, formerly of Birmingham, passed away on January 28, 2015. He was born July 4, 1960; son of Joseph H. Barron, Jr. and Kathleen (nee Moore) Galli. Dan graduated from Brother Rice in 1978. He received a Bachelor of Science from University of Notre Dame in 1982 and later attended University of Michigan for Post Grad studies. Dan was united in marriage to Lisa Falk on June 23, 2007; they spent 7 loving years together. Dan was an avid fan of all things Notre Dame; from football games, to tailgating, to just being on campus, he bled green, blue and gold. Dan always saw the good in people and was never judgmental. He was a jack of all trades; doing everything for everybody at any time. He loved his family, especially his wife Lisa and was a devoted dad to both boys. Among his favorite things was watching Tyler play sports and helping Vance become a fire fighter. He adored his dog children, Finnegan and Biscuit. Dan is survived by his loving wife Lisa Barron; his sons, Tyler Daniel Barron and Vance Michael Hecimovich; his mother, Kathleen (Ron) Galli; his mother-in-law, Sharon Osborn; his siblings, Steve (Nancy) Barron, Joseph (Pam) Barron, Mark (Sharon Kemper) Barron, David (Cory) Barron, and Amy (Jerry) Jenkins; he was also loved by many step siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph H. Barron, Jr. and his sister, Lisa Barron. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. and Monday, February 2, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m., instate 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 47650 North Territorial, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family of Daniel Barron, which will be used for a memorial at University of Notre Dame. Please make checks payable to Lisa Barron.
