Theresa F. Brossoit Theresa F. Brossoit, age 71, of Shelby Twp., formerly of Brighton, passed away peacefully February 8, 2015. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on January 8, 1944; daughter of Edward and Mary (nee Ciborowski) Frank. Theresa, a devoted Catholic, attended school at Sacred Heart in Dearborn. She was united in marriage to Harvey Brossoit on October 23, 1965; they spent 27 loving years together until his death in 1993. Theresa, a homemaker, enjoyed volunteering at the gift shop at St. John's Hospital. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting; she made beautiful keepsake blankets for her children and grandchildren. Theresa, who had Polio as a child, was very strong, proud, and independent; she never complained about having a disability. She was very thoughtful and giving; always remembering everyone's birthday, even for extended family. Spending time with her family was very important to her, she loved them dearly, especially her grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her loving children, Harvey (Kim) Brossoit, Steve (Kim) Brossoit, and Renee (Frank) Brosch; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Spencer, Maddilyn, Emilia, Nathan, Tori, Colin, and Katie; her sisters, Beatrice Doot, Barbara (Ted) Traskos, and Margie (Bernard) Jarzombek; she was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her brother, Tom Frank. The funeral mass will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with a time of gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville. Father John Rocus from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Brighton will officiate the service.
