Malinda E. Miller Malinda E. Miller, age 81, of Northville, passed away peacefully March 15, 2015. She was born in Havillah, Washington on July 2, 1933; daughter of Walter and Louise (nee Batterman) Duchow. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Miller on September 12, 1953; they spent over 59 loving years together until his death in 2013. She lived most of her life in Farmington Hills; following her husband's retirement she lived in Gladwin for 25 years moving to Northville in 2013. Malinda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always involved with her children and their activities and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her main hobby was crocheting; she was very talented and creative. Volunteering was another interest of Malinda's; she volunteered through the Grass Lake Association and within the community. Malinda is survived by her daughter Tresa (Tom) Harrington; her siblings, Wayne (Charlotte) Duchow, Louis Duchow, Wallace (Sally) Duchow, and Frank (LeAnn) Duchow; her grandchildren, Ben, Andy, Corin, and Don Harrington; her sister-in-law Shirley Miller and her brother-in-law Douglas MacArthur. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Dennis Miller, and her sister Vera Fitzthum. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her daughter's home.
