Norma J. Sprague, age 96, of Middleville went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2015 at Carveth Village. Mrs. Sprague was born February 12, 1919, in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Nate and Nellie Wooster. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her sister Isla (Wooster) Braun, and her brothers Leland Wooster and Roland Wooster. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Laurie of Hardy, AR, and stepson Jim (Jennifer) Sprague of Middleville, along with neices Kay (Jon) Fisher of South Lyon, MI, and Arlene (Warner) Krause of Northville, MI, Donna Zimmerman of Shaker Heights, OH, Kathleen Hagerman of Manchester, MI, and nephew Edmund (Millie) Wooster of Chelsea, MI. She also is survived by many grandneices and grandnephews. Norma graduated from South Lyon High School in 1937 and from Moody Bible Institute in the early 1940s. Along with another lady, she spent 47 years of her life teaching the Bible to schoolchildren in Northeastern Oklahoma. In 1990, she moved back to Michigan and married James Sprague, Sr.; they lived together in Middleville until his death in 2002. Norma enjoyed serving the Lord, playing games, being with friends and family, and traveling. She had many friends in both Michigan and Oklahoma and will be greatly missed. Her funeral service is to be held at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap Street, Northville, MI, on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m.
