Marie Kjolhede

Marie was 93. Loving wife of the late Kenneth. Cherished mother of Freda Kjolhede (George), Karl (Susan) Kjolhede, Dirk (Katherine) Kjolhede, and the late Brent (Heidi) Kjolhede. Loving grandmother of Jacqueline and Janine. Sister of the late Clarence (Lois) Sorensen and the late Ellen Sorensen. Dear Sister-in- law of Lois Sorensen and Virginia Kjolhede. Marie was born to Dixen & Lillian (Thomsen) Sorensen in Dwight, Illinois. She obtained a Master's degree in Counseling and had completed all requirements toward a PhD except for the dissertation. She was a counselor at Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan and after retirement moved to her cottage on Lake Charlevoix. Visiting will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Casterline Funeral Home 122 W. Dunlap St. Northville, MI 48167 (One Block North of Main, East of Center). Instate visiting will be 9:30 am until 10 am Services at Hope Lutheran Church 39200 W 12 Mile in Farmington Hills 48331 (East of Haggerty). Interment White Chapel Cemetery.
