Kathryn M. Peltier Kathryn M. Peltier, age 92, of Northville, formerly of Rochester, passed away peacefully April 13, 2015. She was born on July 2, 1922 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of William and Augusta (nee Hauck) Blanchard. Kathryn graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School and later attended Marygrove College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. She was united in marriage to Raymond Peltier in 1954; they were married for 42 years until his death in 1996. Kathryn was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She was a founding member of Farmington Country Club, which later became Walnut Creek, making her the longest standing member of the country club since 1955. She loved playing golf and bridge. Kathryn was an avid reader, who also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She played the piano beautifully and was a wonderful singer. She is survived by her loving children, Kathryn (Richard Ambrose, Jr.) Peltier and Peter (Polly Hughes Peltier) Peltier; and her grandchildren Evan Ambrose, Graham Ambrose, William Peltier, and Shane Peltier. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., she will be instate beginning 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Dr., Northville. Ms. Peltier will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mt.
