Thelma R. Ziegler Age 87, of Northville, formerly of Livonia, passed away peacefully May 16, 2015. Ziegler on June 28, 1952 and they spent 63 loving years together. Thelma was a member of St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia. She was very spiritual; her faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother was very important to her, as was the pilgrimage she made to Fatima, a shrine in Portugal. She was very charitable, supporting many causes near to her heart and found joy in volunteering for many years at St. Christine's Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed bowling and golfing, actively participating in many leagues throughout the years. She was a talented painter and created many beautiful oil paintings. Thelma was a devoted homemaker whose number one priority was her family. Toward the end of her life, her trial was handled with much grace and strength. Thelma is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond L. Ziegler; her daughters, Nadine (Len) Fedoruk, Denise (Tim) Trenary, and Marianne (Ed) Mical; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Scott, Kelly, Brandon, and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Desmond Miller; and her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Miller.
