Hattie E. Fisher

Hattie E. Fisher Hattie E. Fisher, age 97, lifelong resident of Novi, passed away peacefully June 13, 2015. She was born September 23, 1917 in Novi, Michigan to William and Mary (nee Schubert) Brummer. She graduated from Northville High School in 1936. Hattie was united in marriage to Herbert J. Fisher on November 21, 1949; they spent 50 loving years together until his death in 1999. Hattie, a homemaker, did all of the billing for Fisher Electric which was owned and operated by her husband and sons. She was the founder and only member of Hattie's Hackers; she loved cutting her lawn. She was a wonderful baker and made the most amazing pies, especially her apple pie. Hattie was a very loving matriarch who was always there for her family; she was an awesome mother. She enjoyed being active and loved going to as many activities that she could with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Hattie is survived by her loving children, Jim (Diana) Fisher, Fred (Renee) Fisher, and Mary (Ron) Lane; her grandchildren, Maria (Don) Parvu, Victoria (Justin) Arnett, and Katie Fisher; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Hunter, Olivia, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. Hattie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
