Jerome Wallace Christopher

Jerome Wallace Christopher Age 83, a resident of Southfield for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2015. He was born October 12, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; son of John and Adelheid (nee Priewe) Christopher. Chris, as many friends called him, proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked at Chrysler for 56 years as a pipe fitter. Chris was a world traveler and spent many lengthy vacations in China. During his travels he enjoyed taking pictures of all of his adventures. Chris is survived by his sister Jerri Niezgoda and her husband Joe; he is also survived by many dear friends. Chris will take one last trip to Beijing, China where he will be laid to rest.
