Dorothy Jean Soronen

Dorothy Jean Soronen Age 91, born Detroit, MI in 1924. Dear mother of the late Janice and the late Dennis. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her sister Erma "Bea" Schmidt, her cherished niece Dorothy Jean Schmidt (namesake), beloved grandniece Mona Brossard and family,and loving nephew Louis Schmidt and family. Caring friend of Dr. David Pommerening and many wonderful friends of Palm Harbor, Florida, a previous residence. Dorothy will always be remembered as a gentle, loving and compassionate perfect lady. She loved ice cream, card games, bowling and the Detroit Tigers. Her employment years were with Ford Motor Company and IBM. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Detroit after cremation with a family memorial service.
