Lisa L. McLean, age 57, of Pinckney, formerly of South Lyon, passed away July 5, 2015. She was born February 4, 1958 in Noblesville, Indiana to Donald Newby and Lola Evelyn (nee Cline) Newby. She graduated from Northville High School in 1976. Lisa was united in marriage to David M. McLean on July 16, 1983; they spent 31 loving years together. Lisa began working at the U of M Cancer Center in 1999; in 2001 she began her career as a Research Associate at the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Research Institute. Lisa enjoyed playing games, both board and card, which she was really good at. She loved going to theme parks and riding rollercoasters, Disney was her all-time favorite. She enjoyed watching fireworks. Lisa was a phenomenal caregiver; she was a perfect wife and a selfless mother. She was very humble and honest. Lisa had a wonderful work ethic and was extremely organized which carried over to her home life. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, David M. McLean; her children, Christine (Nicholas) LaRosa and Ryan (Danielle Morris) McLean; her grandson, Noah LaRosa; her parents, Don (Carolyn Castor-Newby) Newby and Lola Evelyn Newby; and her siblings, Patrice Vincent, Ron (Denise) Newby, and Gerry (Gabi) Newby. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with a time of gathering beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.
