Charles B. Miracle Age 81, of Northville, passed away on April 16, 2016. He was born May 20, 1934 in Oaks, Kentucky; son of Charles and Rhoda (nee Cheek) Miracle. He was united in marriage to Catherine “Susie” Ries on April 16, 1955; celebrating 61 years of marriage just a few days ago. Charles was a Fleet Manager at Friendship Materials in Detroit; he retired in 1999 after working for 34 years. Charles raised and raced harness horses at Northville Downs. He liked watching sports on TV and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He was a skillful diesel mechanic and wonderful woodworker. Charles loved to play poker and used his woodworking skills to make beautiful poker tables. He enjoyed chewing on cigars. He was a hard worker who knew how to have fun. He is survived by his wife Catherine “Susie” Miracle; his children, Patrick Miracle, David (Heather Christie) Miracle, and Carol Miracle; his siblings, Ora (Sandra) Miracle, Vernon (Mary) Miracle, Troy (Glenda) Miracle, and Deloris Lawson; his grandchildren, Jason (Kellie) Miracle, Amanda (Mike) Finney, Justin Miracle, and Nick (Sarah) Miracle; his great grandchildren, Lillie, Paige, Kate, David, Joey, Liam, Josh, Savannah, Gunner, Wyatt, Andy Luna, and Jayce. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Kenneth Miracle, Chester Miracle, Clarence “Red” Miracle, Hobert Miracle, and Lee Roy Miracle. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27 from 2pm until 6pm with a funeral service beginning at 6pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville.
