Lisa Ann Erdelyi Mindick

 Lisa Ann Erdelyi Mindick, age 53, of Northville, passed away peacefully June 22, 2016.  She was born in Livonia, Michigan on January 28, 1963; daughter of Richard and Lillian (nee Dickinson) Erdelyi. Lisa received an Associate Degree through Central Michigan University and Schoolcraft College; working as an administrative assistant for many years.  Lisa was an avid reader. She loved to sketch and enjoyed writing her thoughts and feelings in her journal. Lisa was a spiritual soul; she would often be found meditating or practicing yoga. Spending time in the sun either by the pool or gardening was also one of Lisa’s hobbies. She had a beautiful smile and a very distinctive laugh or as some friends would call it a cackle. Lisa adored her daughters and was very proud of them and their achievements. Lisa taught her daughters how to be motivated and how to be a fighter; she fought long and hard for herself, her family, and her friends.  Lisa is survived by her daughters, Kathryn L. Mindick and Elise E. Mindick; her mother Lillian Erdelyi; her siblings, Lori Stephens, Richard (Betsy) Erdelyi, and Roxanne Erdelyi; and her beloved dog, Candie. She was preceded in death by her father Richard and her sister Cindy Erdelyi-Swartz.  Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until Noon with a memorial service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. Pastor Jerry Harrington with NorthRidge Church will officiate the service.
