Susan R. Zawacki

Susan R. Zawacki   Susan R. Zawacki, age 70, of Novi, formerly of Canton and Livonia, passed away on September 11, 2016 following a battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.   Susan was born on September 1, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan.   She graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia; Class of 1964.  Susan was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Daniel J. Zawacki on August 20, 1966; they just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.      Susan was a devoted homemaker; she enjoyed keeping a clean and well organized home.  She was a great motivator and good at delegating tasks to her husband.   Susan was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was very involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives.  A faithful Catholic, she was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Novi for many years.  Susan loved to garden, travel, and cook; she was also an avid reader.                   She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel J. Zawacki, Sr.; her children, Daniel J. (Angela) Zawacki, Jr., Timothy (Stacey) Zawacki, and Christine Skeens; her sister-in-law, Cynthia (Robert) Naumoff; and her grandchildren, Haley, Jacob, Sophie, Daniel III, Cain, and Myah.   A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with a time of gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 Ten Mile Road, Novi.                Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1471 E.
