Neil A. Patterson

Neil Alvin Patterson      Age 67, of Crossville, Tennessee, formerly of Northville and Grosse Pointe, Michigan, passed away on September 17th, 2016. Neil was born in Detroit on May 30th, 1949. He graduated from Assumption Collegiate School and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Michigan State University.      Neil worked in business and sales for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed exploring the mysteries around every corner, navigating the purest green fairways, bringing joy to others through laughter, cheering for the Spartans, being the person his family could turn to in times of crisis, and enjoying the perfect cigar with a cold beer.       Neil is survived by his brothers and sisters, Kate(Dale) Rogers, Liz Patterson, Sue Patterson (Mike Muma), Mike(Bridget) Patterson, Tim Patterson, John Patterson, and Scott(Melissa) Patterson; his children, Elizabeth Patterson, Neil Patterson and Edmund(Karen) Patterson; his grandson Ethan Patterson; many loving nieces and nephews; his best friends Chris Soutar, Matt Monendo and Brett Huffmaster, and many other colleagues and friends. Neil is preceded in death by his father Neil, mother Mary, and godson Geoffrey.       A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 12pm with a time of gathering from 10am until Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Deacon Ken Fry from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church will officiate the service.       In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neil A.
