Dale M. Justin

  Dale M. Justin            Dale M. Justin, age 81, of Livonia, formerly of Northville and Clinton Township, passed away on January 1, 2017. He was born July 10, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan; son of Arthur and Adele (nee Baker) Justin.         Dale had a very strong work ethic; he worked in food sales for many years and retired at the age of 62.  He loved working so much that following his retirement he began a new career with Chase Bank and worked there for over 12 years.  He was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching Tiger Baseball and Lions Football.  He was a history buff; especially history pertaining to WWII.  In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors.  Dale was very social and outgoing; he was always liked by those who met him.  While at the assisted living he used his charming nature to his advantage and was often rewarded with extra treats for his flattery of the staff.     Dale is survived by his loving sons, Steven (Isabel) Justin and Gerald (Andrea) Justin; his brother, Marlin (Julie) Justin; his grandchildren, Joseph (Jacklyn) Lock, Felix (Jill) Justin, Jesus (Veronica) Gomez, and Annemarie (Clint Newsom) Lock; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Jake, Sean, Adrianna, and Rebekah.  He was also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.    He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Joyce Lock, his grandson Sylvester Justin, and his brother Arthur L. Justin.           Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon with a Funeral Service at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.  Mr. Justin will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI.           Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mount Elliot, Detroit, MI 48207.
