Kylie Nicole Mattic April 6, 2004 - January 20, 2017 Kylie, a 12-year-old resident of Northville, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving family on January 20, 2017.  She was born April 6, 2004 in Wayne, Michigan; daughter of Leroy and LaToya (Smith) Mattic. She bought intense joy to the people in her life and was loved by many. Kylie attended Penrickton Center for Blind Children until age 6 and then was home schooled until her passing. During her life, she enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with soft toys, and being held close by her parents, grandparents, family and caregivers. She loved to travel with her family, going to destinations like the Bahamas, Hawaii, and Disney Land. She also made numerous visits to Disneyworld. Kylie is survived by her mother and father; her sister, Chloe Mattic; her maternal grandmother Cleo Smith, her paternal grandfather Leroy Mattic Sr, Her aunts and uncles Kathleen and Benn Gilmore, Marla and Boise Walker, Tina Taylor, John and Valeke Smith, LaTeesa and Cornelious James as well as numerous cousins, friends, and church family. Kylie was greatly loved during her life and will be missed immensely. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5-7pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00am at the Farmington Hills Church of Christ, 36500 W 11 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills. Robert Brown will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to Penrickton Center for Blind Children, 26530 Eureka Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180 “In Memory of Kylie Mattic” on the donation.
