Kathleen Irene Musa, age 55, of Dunedin, Florida, formerly of Canton passed away peacefully in her home on March 29, 2017. She was born on May 8, 1961 in Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada; daughter of Gerald and Monica (nee Fox) Fleury. Kathy spent most of her childhood in Maumee, Ohio and Erie, Michigan. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan; Class of 1979. She worked for many years in the hospitality industry where she enjoyed taking care of people. Kathy loved going to the beach and was admired for her generosity and carefree spirit. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. Kathy adored animals and liked watching televisions shows like Survivor and Big Brother. She was proud of the job she had as a waitress at the American Legion because she was able to give back to Veterans. Giving was one of Kathy’s strongest attributes; she would volunteer in Carly’s 2nd grade classroom and always made sure each student had a gift before she left. Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grand babies. She was a fun and loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Kathleen is survived by her three children, Natalie (Jeff) Flora, Carly Musa, and Christopher “Buddy” (Sarah) Musa; her brother, Gerald (Ronda) Fleury; three sisters, Lynn (Bill) Kasparek, Cheryl (Greg) Kujawski, Sandra (James) Tarvin; her mother, Monica Fleury; and her three grandchildren, Olivia Musa, CJ Musa, and Cole Flora. Kathleen also had many nieces and nephews that she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Fleury. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 1:30pm until 2:30pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:30pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville.
