Patricia A. Rokicki, age 89, of Farmington Hills and Harbor Springs, passed away April 16, 2017. She was born December 1, 1927 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter of Edward and Emilia Riegler. Patricia was raised in Muskegon and later moved to Good Hart and Harbor Springs. She was united in marriage to Henry Rokicki on August 29, 1987; dedicated to each other for over 25 years until his death on February 23, 2013. Patricia was an office manager with a telephone company now known as Verizon; she began as a clerk and advanced quickly. During her managerial years she traveled the mid-west launching many offices for the company. Patricia loved to play card games and was very competitive and strategic when playing. She also loved living in Harbor Springs on the water and enjoyed birdwatching; she especially liked watching hummingbirds and cardinals. Patricia was very talented at crafting; her needlepoint work and quilts were meticulous and intricate. She also made miniature characters which showcased her attention to detail. Patricia also liked the challenge of a good word search or crossword puzzle. She was a very loving, gracious and elegant wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Patricia is survived by her loving stepdaughters, Sally (Dick) Hug, Lorraine “Laurie” (the late Hank) Harvey, and Deanna (the late Noel) DeGaetano; her grandchildren, Kristin (Jim) Periard and Noah (Evelyn Huang) DeGaetano; and her great grandson Donnie Periard. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:30am, instate at 10am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville, Michigan. Father Denis Theroux will officiate Mass. She will be laid to rest at Island View Cemetery in Readmond Township, Michigan on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:30am.
