Eleanor R. Worden Eleanor R. Worden, age 88, longtime resident of Livonia, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2017. She was born on May 14, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of Anthony and Rose (nee Pelz) Lehn. She graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit, Michigan; Class of 1945. Eleanor was united in marriage to William T. Worden in 1948; they spent 39 loving years together until his death on July 3, 1987. Eleanor worked as a secretary at Associated Springs in Plymouth for 25 years. She was a member of St. Damian Catholic Church in Westland. She was also a member of Daughters of Isabella. Eleanor was an avid reader and shared her love of books by volunteering at the Senior Center Library in Livonia for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Eleanor was very vivacious and friendly; she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Eleanor is survived by her loving daughter Linda (Keith) Anolick; her sister Frances Barry; her grandchildren Whitney (Elio) Coventry and Ryan (Carlene) Anolick; and her great grandsons Aiden Coventry and Andrew Coventry. Also loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sisters Mary Castrodale and Helen Kogut. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy Catholic Church, 8200 Wayne Rd., Westland, MI 48185.
