Nancy A. Tuley

Nancy A. Tuley, age 82, of Canton, formerly a longtime resident of Northville, passed away on July 6, 2017.  She was born October 8, 1934 in Henderson, Kentucky; daughter of Wallace and Elizabeth (nee Watkins) Cheaney.  Nancy was united in marriage to Robert M. Tuley on August 12, 1956; they spent 39 loving years as husband and wife until his death in August 1995.    Nancy was a devoted homemaker.  She was incredibly caring toward others and was always very generous.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time outdoors growing beautiful flowers in her yard.  Nancy loved her family; she especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.   Nancy is survived by her loving daughters, Rita Green, Debbie Tuley, and Pamela (Mike) Smith; her sister, Peggy Kneebone; her sister-in-law, Debra Cheaney; her grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Gregory Smith, Nicole Green, and Garrett Green; and her great grandson Colton Green.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother Donald Cheaney.           A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Rural Hill Cemetery, 100 Rural Hill Dr., Northville.  Pastor Jonathan Wilkes from First Baptist Church of Northville will officiate the service.                In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, 20450 Civic Center Drive, Southfield, Michigan 48076.
