Linda Beth Moore

Linda B. Moore, age 69, of Northville, formerly of Detroit and Redford passed away July 17, 2017. She was born February 6, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of Melbourne and Beth (nee Christner) Shekell.  Linda graduated from Thurston High School in Redford; Class of 1966.  She continued her education at Spring Arbor University where she received an Associate Degree.  Linda was united in marriage to Dennis S. Moore on August 29, 2002; they spent 14 loving years together.   Linda was a dedicated homemaker; she was a wonderful wife and mother.  She loved to make cards and spend time shopping for materials at Stampeddler.  Linda would keep in touch with friends and family by sending her creatively designed cards.  She enjoyed being part of the Northville Community and was proud of her home. She enjoyed road trips and carefully navigated her and Dennis from Maine to Florida, from South Carolina to Arizona, and all points in between. She took her duty as co-pilot seriously.   Linda is survived her loving husband Dennis S. Moore; her sisters, Susie Williams, Mary (Greg) Dunny, and Patty (Glenn) Shaw; her step-daughter, Erin (Mark) Day; her grandchildren, Brennan, Ryan, and Sean; her dear friend Kaye Cannizzaro; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Amy Beth Sibal, and her step-son Patrick Moore.    A Time of Gathering will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon with a Memorial Service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.   In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Patrick Moore Memorial Press Box Fund, make checks payable to Madonna University, 36600 Schooolcraft Rd., Livonia, MI 48150.  Be sure to include Patrick Moore Memorial Press Box Fund on the memo line of the check.
