Thomas C. Bryson

Thomas C. Bryson Thomas C. Bryson, age 79, longtime resident of Northville, passed away peacefully August 1, 2017. He was born May 9, 1938 in Sylva, North Carolina; son of Neil and Soyrietta (nee Baumgarner) Bryson. Thomas was united in marriage to Joan M. Scheidel on January 18, 1964; they spent 53 years devoted to one another as husband and wife.  Thomas was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Northville for many years.  He was also a member of Knights of Columbus.  Thomas worked as a sales person for 3M; retiring after 32 years.  He was an avid golfer; he played weekly with a group of friends at different courses in the area.  Thomas was a social butterfly; he loved to entertain and have parties with friends.      Thomas is survived by his loving wife Joan; his daughters, Anna (Brad) Coulter and Michelle Bryson; his siblings, Scott (Jane) Thomas and Dixie (Steve Maravitz) Collins; and 3 grandchildren, Nick, Jessica, and Kaylie.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   A time of gathering will be held Friday, August 4, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville.  Father Denis Theroux will officiate the service.    In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to American Heart Association, 27777 Franklin Road, Ste. 1150, Southfield, MI 48034.
