Brenda G. Haire

Brenda G. Haire, age 67, longtime resident of Novi, passed away on August 28, 2017.  She was born August 5, 1950 in Tiptonville, Tennessee; daughter of Thomas and Virginia (nee Dyer) Hayes.  She graduated from Plymouth High School; Class of 1968.  Brenda was united in marriage to David R. Haire on June 7, 1980; they spent 37 loving years together as husband and wife.   Brenda worked at Western Electric in Plymouth for many years.  She also worked as a salesperson for Country Fare Home Store in Northville where she shared her talent for decorating.  Brenda had wonderful taste; she enjoyed decorating her own home, helping customers and friends with their homes, and staging the windows at the store.  Her flair for design extended outside of her home as well; she grew many beautiful flowers and her gardens were maintained perfectly.  Brenda liked to travel; she and her husband traveled extensively throughout the United States in their motorhome.  She loved spending time just hanging out with family; she would make delicious food for family gathering and made sure no one ever went hungry. Brenda cherished her family and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.   Brenda is survived by her loving husband, David R. Haire; her children, Wendy (Doug) Heyza and David R. Haire, Jr.; her sister Kathy (Bill) Bursik; and her grandchildren, Katrina and Branden.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Welsh.           Private family services will be held.  In memory of Brenda the family asks that you plant a tree or flower in her honor.
