Rose Marie Kelly nee (Robertson), age 92 passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on December 1st, 2017, in Munster Indiana. Rose is survived by her children Russell (Ann) Kelly of Northville Michigan; Maureen (Mark) Snedden of Munster Indiana, Marcia (Scott) Evett of Munster Indiana; Tim (Natalie) Kelly of Fairfield California, Bromley Kelly of Parkland Florida and daughter-in-law Stephanie Kelly of Nashville Tennessee. Rose had 18 grandchildren; Tanner, Trey, Hunter, Jenna, Brad, Brian Chelsea, Ashley, Aaron, Trevar, Amanda, Paige, James, Ollie, Elizabeth, Shaun, Matthew and Madison; and 1 great grandchild Louis. Rose was preceded in death by her Husband William H. Kelly of Northville Michigan; son William H. Kelly Jr. of Rapid City Michigan; and her siblings William Robertson, Charles Robertson and MaryBelle Hickey. Rose was born on October 7th, 1925 in Houghton Michigan to the parents of Rose Mary Robertson and William Robertson. Rose was a loving mother and homemaker that raised a family of 6 children in Northville Michigan with her Husband Bill. The couple met while ice skating in Houghton Michigan and were married in Houghton. Rose was a member of Meadowbrook Country Club for over 50 years. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends but her passion was cooking and was known to all for the wonderful creations that came from her kitchen. Rose loved Sundays as it was an opportunity to bring everyone together to attend church, visit with her family and share one of her gourmet meals. Rose’s family and friends will always remember her as kind and gentle person who always had a positive outlook and enjoyed her life to the fullest. A memorial service is planned for Saturday December 9th, 2017 at the Casterline Funeral Home in Northville Michigan. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon. The service will start at noon. Interment will be at the Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville Michigan. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Rose Kelly.
