James L. Watson

James L. Watson, age 62, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2018 in Howell, Michigan. He was born March 23, 1956 in Livonia, Michigan; son of Frederick and Jenny (nee Folino) Watson. Jimmy was lovingly devoted to Annette D. (nee Waldman) Watson for over 40 years. He graduated from Northville High School; Class of 1974. Jimmy grew up in Northville then moved to Pinckney to begin his family. He has also lived in Gregory and Howell. For the last 10 years he has been a truck driver for Aldi. Before his career with Aldi, Jimmy was a roofer for 30 years. He owned and operated Watson Roofing. He enjoyed playing pool competitively and for fun; he competed on a team at Hamburg Pub. Jimmy was a past member of The Whitmore Lake Rod and Gun Club. He was a true outdoorsman; he loved hunting and fishing. He led by example and taught his children how to be hardworking and loyal adults. Jimmy adored his family and focused his life around his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Annette D. Watson; his children, Jeremy (Haley) Watson and Carrie (Mike Brooks) Watson; his sister Janice (the late Robert) Carroll; his brother Joseph (Robin) Watson; and his grandchildren Isabella, Peyton, Michael, and Adelynn. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Carl Taylor and Johnny Watson. The visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2-8pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Noon with visitation beginning at 11am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Rev. William Donahue will officiate the service. Jimmy will be laid to rest in Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.  Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 4527, New York, New York 10163.
