Clara Bell Hall, age 94, of South Lyon, passed away on March 26, 2018. She was born November 2, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Harry and Minerva (nee Rogers) Goodwin. Clara was united in marriage to Hallett L. Hall on September 8, 1945. They spent 57 loving years together until his death on July 2, 2003. Clara worked as a credit manager for Annapolis Hospital for many years. She enjoyed spending time fishing and also enjoyed knitting Afghans. While living up north she amassed a very large collection of movies and video cassettes. She was a wonderful storyteller and loved to share stories about her life. Clara was incredibly kind and had a delightfully pleasant personality. Clara is survived by her loving children, Hallett “Hal” (Debbie) Hall and Patricia (Bruce) Errair; her grandchildren, Dr. Erika (Jarod) Johnson, Angela (Gregory) Prew, Rachel (Michael) Melville, Domenic (Katrina) DiMassa, Douglas (Lisa) Hall, and Dr. Deborah (Kraig) Washburn; and her great grandchildren, Alena, Evalynn, Caleb, Violet, Charlotte, Everett, Olive, Emmett, Max, Tyler, Emily, Brian, and Evan. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister Elsie VanDerMaas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Brighton Church of Christ.
