John Anthony Trubacs

John A. Trubacs, age 98 a longtime resident of Northville, passed away July 18, 2018.  He was born January 19, 1920 in Latvia. He was married to Nina T. Plepis for over 67 years until her death in 2014.  John worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church where a family service will be held.

John enjoyed sports, especially baseball. He was an avid stamp collector and like completing challenging crossword puzzles. John was a very intellectual man with a strong mind for mathematics which made him a tough competitor when playing chess. He is survived by his son Eric R. Trubacs. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three brothers.
